About Us
It all began when our twins arrived. My husband and I were already parents of a toddler. No question, adding the twins to the family certainly brought big changes. All of our hands were needed to just keep up with everyone.
We have always loved being outdoors and being active. We were absolutely determined not to change that. We wanted to share our outdoor interests and activities with our children, so they could learn to love this wonderful world as much as we do.
One day we were on an outing to our local park. We both had our hands full and our diaper bag was overflowing. My husband began to search in our diaper bag for the snack we had packed for our toddler. After digging through all of our supplies he finally came up with it. We asked one another, “Why does it seem to be impossible to put our hands on just what we need when we need it?” Then it hit us. How about a strap-on wearable bag with compartments to hold everything, a hands free diaper bag? We would be able to find what we needed right away instead of organizing a search!
We turned this idea over and over in our minds. We began to picture exciting possibilities: zippered pouches for bottles and lotion, a foldout changing pad, a slot for a cellphone, a place to keep my keys so they wouldn’t find their way to the bottom of my diaper bag - and much more. We realized a light weight, hands free way to be organized would make our trips to the park a breeze. Working with a product designer, we came up with several different designs. We personally tested each one. And that's how we came to create BabyBandolier.
Now we're taking this concept even further. We intend to offer additional child care products to parents who love the active life and share our point of view.
